NADD represents the Namibian dollar. AOAk represents the Angolan kwanza. Use both in your NADD Pay account on WhatsApp.

Send "Hello" to +264 85 250 9027 on WhatsApp.

Send AOAk

A familiar way to send.

Start in WhatsApp. Follow the screens and review every detail before you confirm.

1. Open Send AOAk

Choose 3. Send → 2. Send AOAk. You can also use 5. AOAk Services → 1. Send AOAk.

2. Confirm the receiver

Enter the receiver’s WhatsApp number with the country code, such as +244 for Angola or +264 for Namibia. Check the full number and reply YES.

3. Enter the amount

Enter how much AOAk the receiver should receive. Choose AOAk or NADD under Pay using.

4. Review and confirm

Check the receiver, amount, exchange rate when applicable, fee and total. Enter your separate payment PIN only when everything is correct.

Change your mind?

Use BACK to return to the previous screen, CANCEL to stop a pending action, or MENU for the main menu. These commands do not reverse a completed payment.

Confirm the payment

Check your statement. A payment alert may arrive through WhatsApp or SMS, depending on channel availability. Never rely on an SMS alone as proof of payment.

Exchange your balance

NADD ↔ AOAk. Review the rate first.

Use 5. AOAk Services → 4. Convert to exchange your own balance, or choose the other currency when paying a receiver.

Choose the direction

Exchange NADD for AOAk, or AOAk for NADD. To send NADD using AOAk, open 3. Send → 1. Send NADD and choose AOAk under Pay using.

Have enough funds

Your balance must cover the payment and fee. The exchange must also hold enough of the currency you will receive. If funds are unavailable, the exchange cannot complete.

Buying NADD is separate

Buying NADD delivers NADD. It does not automatically buy or mint AOAk. You can request a separate conversion when exchange funds are available.

Fees and safety

Know what you pay. Keep your PIN private.

Review the fee and total shown in WhatsApp before every payment.

Sender pays; receiving is free

The current sender fee is 0.5%, with a minimum of 0.05 in the currency used to pay. Check the live review screen for the applicable rate, fee and total. Receiving NADD or AOAk is free.

Your PIN authorizes payment

Unlocking NADD Pay does not send money. A separate payment PIN is required. Never share your PIN, OTP, private key or recovery phrase with another person.

Check your statement

If a confirmation is delayed, check your statement before starting another payment. You can type RESULT while signed in to retrieve your latest saved payment result.
